Death of a man in Coral Springs deemed not suspicious

Police say that an incident in northeastern Calgary involving the death of a man discovered inside a burning vehicle has nothing to do with it. of suspect.

Officers claim that they were called to the scene around 2:45 pm for reports of a vehicle fire.

They found the vehicle in block 600 of Coral Springs Boulevard N.E. and once the fire extinguished, they discovered the body of a man inside.

A subsequent investigation found a severely injured woman in a nearby house.

Staff Sergeant Colleen Bowers said she was taken to the hospital but was in a stable state. She adds that the victims are known one from the other but can not comment on the nature of their relationship.
