Chuck Fletcher became the big favorite to become the next Philadelphia Flyers general manager.
Philadelphia Flyers president Paul Holmgren met Fletcher on Thursday and Darren Dreger, a TSN Hockey insider, said it "seems like" the job Fletcher has to lose.
Chuck Fletcher and Paul Holmgren gathered today. Looks like it's Fletcher's job to lose. The goalkeeper and the center will be priorities for the new general manager when he is appointed.

The New Jersey Devils allowed the Flyers to talk to Fletcher on Wednesday, two days after the dismissal of Flyers GM Ron Hextall.
Fletcher, 51, is the Devils' senior adviser to the Director General / Head of Hockey Operations, a position he was appointed to in June shortly after being removed from office by Minnesota Wild.
He spent nine seasons as the Wild's general manager and built a team that reached the playoffs in six consecutive seasons.
