Lunar observers excited by the lunar eclipse will see the Moon of Blood in the night of Friday, July 27 to July 28.
The night of the eclipse, the full moon of July crosses the shadow of the Earth, momentarily disappear from view and reappear as the lamentable moon of blood.
Although lunar eclipses happen about twice a year, astronomers are excited because the next eclipse will last one hour and 43 minutes – the longest lunar eclipse of the 21st century. And nearly two hours of additional partial eclipses will make the lunar show last just four hours later.

The eclipse will be found mainly in the eastern hemisphere with the way India will be in the middle of the action on July 27, when the moon will begin to darken .
The initial stage of the eclipse, known as the Penumbral phase, begins around 10:45 am local time, but times may vary slightly from one place to the other
The total eclipse will begin north over New Delhi on Saturday, July 28th and end at 2:43 pm. in Bangalore, the Penumbral stadium and the complete eclipse should begin and end at exactly the same time.
After the end of the total eclipse, the partial eclipse will end at 3:49 TSI and the pharmonary phase will end at 4:58.
India is now in the monsoon season, which could potentially hinder the viewing conditions, but the eclipse will be visible throughout the country as long as the weather permits.

The full moon will begin to eclipse over the United Arab Emirates and continue into the morning hours of Saturday, July 28.
The Penumbral eclipse over Dubai will start at 9.14pm GST, followed by the partial eclipse at 22:24 GST and the total eclipse at 23:30 GST
At the moment the Moon Bloody becomes red, the eclipse will reach its maximum at 12:21 GMT
The lunar eclipse will then begin to end and the moon will slowly return to its normal colors.
The final stage of the bloody moon eclipse will end around 3:28 am on Saturday morning.
When is the lunar eclipse visible in Malaysia?
Malaysia and neighboring Thailand, Cambodia and Vietnam are just outside the main road of all but almost all of the total and partial eclipse will still be visible.
In Malaysia, the total eclipse will be visible in the morning of July 28th. from 1am MYT.
During the capital of Kuala Lumpur, the Penumbral phase begins at 1.14am MYT and travels in the partial 2.24am MYT eclipse.
The total eclipse phase of the Bloody Moon will begin approximately around 3.30am MYT and reach maximum about 50 minutes later at 4.21am MYT.
Stargazers will see the red color of the moon begin to disappear around 5:13 am.
At around 7:20 pm, the moon will dive under the horizon at the beginning of the day, which means that astronomers will miss the last final Penumbral.
