WASHINGTON – U.S. President Donald Trump denied "There is no collusion" between his presidential campaign and Russia, and he said that "collusion is not a crime" anyway. Case closed? Not exactly.
Trump and his lawyers are right that the term "collusion" is not precise when it comes to U.S. law. But it does not change the potential of legal fallout stemming from the Russia investigation, which could touch on laws against computer hacking, election fraud and conspiracy against the United States.

THE FACTS : It's okay to say that election collusion is not has specified legal term. (While we're at it, election "meddling" is not.) The United States uses the term "collusion" in antitrust laws to address crimes.
But there are plenty of specific laws on the subject. Trump's presidential campaign has been co-opted by the United States. There are also laws against election fraud, computer hacking, wire fraud, and falsifying records, if those apply.

So far, special counsel Robert Mueller has challenged the Russians of hacking into Democrats' computers and stealing emails, and is trying to stoke US tensions before the 2016 election using social media. Mueller has already spoken Trump's former chairman and other top of the world working in the United States of America.

Mueller might decide, for example, that a crime was committed if he found evidence that an American was involved in the hack of Democrats,
