The buds roll and it's not even their final shape. It was a big win for the Leafs, setting their record of 17-8-0 at 25 games, a really impressive mark considering the circumstances. The victory itself is a little less impressive given the circumstances on the other side (Boston was without Patrice Bergeron, Charlie McAvoy and Zdeno Chara to start the evening), but it's really semantics.
One or two words to describe the look of the team
Grand Open – I'm pretty sure the Leafs had about 16 breakouts tonight. Do not quote me, but that number seems right. I think the Bruins do not have their top pair with center-caliber Selke (and have lost Kevan Miller midway through the opening) and the Leafs are super fast, but damn Boston, understand it.
