Google Glbad Enterprise Edition 2 has recently shown up at the FCC, which means the device might get launched sooner than expected, according to MySmartPrice. While the filing doesn’t tell much about the device, other than the fact that it looks exactly the same as its predecessor and comes with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity.

The FCC documentation doesn’t reveal any specifications, but the headset is expected to be an improvement over the predecessor. MySmartPrice reports that Google Glbad Enterprise 2 will offer slightly better specifications, an improved battery life, and a higher resolution camera module.

The original Google Glbad was a revolutionary device at a time of its release in 2013.  Unfortunately, Google Glbad failed to help consumers understand why they needed a smart glbad. Last year, Google revived its failed Glbad project by releasing a product for businesses. Called the Glbad Enterprise Edition, the headset was designed for use in industries such as manufacturing and healthcare.

With the Glbad Enterprise Edition 2, Google wants to revive its chances to get successful in the augmented reality (AR) headset space which is in its nascent stages. But Google isn’t alone working on a new pair of augmented reality headset. Huawei too is watching this space closely. In a recent interview with CNBC, Huawei’s Richard Yu has confirmed the company’s plans to launch augmented reality headset in a year or two. Not just Google and Huawei, Apple is also rumoured to be working on AR glbades. Rumour has it that Apple might launch the headset in either 2020 or 2021.
