At least four tornadoes fell on Tuesday in the southwestern Saskatchewan. the time came around 3:45 pm when a tornado was reported north of Maple Creek near Golden Prairie near the Alberta border
About two hours later another funnel cloud has been spotted south of Swift Current, near Val Marie. down between 18:25 and 18:45. southwest of Moose Jaw near Wood Mountain
This was the second day of extreme weather for the southwestern region, with two confirmed tornadoes and reports of a third on Monday. Saskatchewan did not see any significant damage from these storms, but the story was very different south of the border in Plentywood, Montana, where tornadoes ripped the roof off the ground. a house, tearing trees, destroying trailers and launching small planes.
Environment Canada was waiting for a reprieve due to extreme weather conditions, as extreme heat and storm warnings had all been lifted.

Thunderstorm of Kindersley
While the Southwest Saskatchewan was dealing with hail and tornadoes, many in the central part of the province also had a wild time.

Environment Canada meteorologist Shannon Moodie reported recording peak gusts 89 kilometers an hour in
Moodie said the region's weather staff would be called Wednesday in the region to get better data on the damage caused by the storm. from west to east across the province
She said the cold air should continue flowing to Manitoba on Wednesday, and parts of east-central Saskatchewan could see more storms.
Moodie said that the storm activity could produce funneling clouds, but they are expected to be weaker than those spotted on Tuesday and unlikely to touch.
