Huawei Mate 20 Lite can come in two variants

The Huawei Mate series will be refreshed in a few months. A leak early this year has already confirmed that Huawei will also grow from 10 to 20 for the appointment of the next Mate phones. Therefore, rather than launching as the Mate 11 series, they will be launched as the Mate 20 series.

Successor to Huawei Mate 10 Lite, the Mate 20 Lite may have two variants [19659004] Like the series of last year, the Mate 20 should also have a variant "Lite". However, we could have more than one "Lite" variant this year.

The info, however, still unconfirmed comes from the popular fugitive Roland Quandt. He mentioned in a tweet that the Mate 20 Lite called it "Sydney" but that there were (at least) two variants. One is called "Sydney M" and the other "Sydney I".

Huawei Mate 20 Lite is codenamed "Sydney". There seem to be (at least?) Two variants: Sydney M + Sydney I. Here are some speculations on my part: Why would there be different accessories for the same model? Hole for the FP player on the back against no hole for the FP player on the back = In FP screen?

Judging by the rest of the tweet, it seems accessories (read the case) for the two phones are different, with one with a cut-out Back for a fingerprint scanner and the other do not have one; which leads him to speculate that the second device may have an integrated scanner.

A fingerprint scanner built into the Mate 20 Lite seems far-fetched, but a front-mounted fingerprint reader seems more plausible. However, we would need more evidence to confirm that Huawei is planning several variants.

The Mate 20 Lite Can Be Launched As Maimang 7 First And With Names different on other markets. That's possible, Huawei may want to distinguish them by swapping the position of the fingerprint scanner. Moreover, even if there are no specification details at the moment, we are certain that the processor of the Mate 20 Lite is certainly the new Kirin 710 processor.
