iPad can happen to flaunt a full Photoshop next year

Photoshop and several Adobe applications are already available on iTunes. But these are iOS and Android compatible versions of the application made to better fit the touch interface and systems with a processing power not as good as desktops. That could change with the upcoming iPad 2019.

According to a Bloomberg report, citing sources close to the record, Adobe plans to launch new products that will be compatible between devices and that "will stimulate sales of subscriptions" . The report cites the confirmation of Scott Belsky, Adobe product manager at Creative Cloud, claiming that the company was working on a "new multi-platform Photoshop iteration".

The unveiling could take place during the annual MAX creative conference to be held in October, and the application could get to the iPad in 2019 because by the time it will be ready for availability on the market.

This would provocatively help Apple to endorse its new iPad as a central photo editor. Windows tablets such as Microsoft run the same operating system as their desktop versions. Adobe applications have been fully supported from day one. IPads and Android tablets having their own architecture, Adobe had to create new mobile applications

to the cloud version of its applications with the introduction of the Creative Cloud suite and in 2017 introduced the Lightroom CC, bringing new new features more suited to the mobile interface, such as custom filters and photo correction options. Limited functionality is better than more features when they can be easily used for photo correction. But with the desktop version arriving on mobile, a lot of things should be redesigned for the new platform and this may not be a very simple transition.

Bloomberg quotes Belsky saying that "it takes a lot to take a product as sophisticated and powerful as Photoshop and to make it work on a modern device like the iPad.We have to bring our products into this collaborative era cloud-first "

The Transition Would Require A Solid Baseline On All Plates Platforms. At the moment, different Creative Cloud applications are based on older architectures, different for each device. But it will also bring new features to the table. You can start editing on your computer and finish it on your iPad while you're on the way to catch a flight.
The mobile application will not be an exact replica but will be proposed at the same time as the desktop application. It will have a mobile-friendly interface but will be for professionals and casual users.
