We always knew Chrissy Teigen and John legend were funny, but we never thought that they were funny sitcom so far.
The married couple played in A legendary Christmas with John and Chrissy Tonight, on NBC, it was basically a special holiday program at the multi-cam sitcom at the old school, dotted with all the random celebrity friends of John and Chrissy. Kris Jenner! Kim Kardashian! Awkwafina! Zach Galifianakis! Stevie Wonder! Darren Criss! Jane Lynch! Meghan Trainor! Ybadir Lester! Retta! Derek Hough! Ben Schwartz steal pajamas!
John panicked that Chrissy is doing too much for dinner. Kris tried to get Chrissy into a banner company. Everyone went singing at random to people. Chrissy and John even had a macaroni and cheese meal, and Chrissy basically grilled the Voice judges to convince them to rotate their chairs for her. Retta sang while Derek Hough played ballet and the Fab 5 called Little Luna on the phone. Sorry, that's a lot of things, but there are so many things we want to list!
All the while, John and Chrissy were sweet and hilarious, and all we could think about was that we needed more of that. If we can not have a full season, we will take a special Easter and a special 4th of July, as well as Halloween and Thanksgiving. We do not even need the other stars, but we will take them with pleasure if they are there.
It's not like there was not a lot of material on hand. Just take one or two of Chrissy's tweets and Instagram and you have enough content for an entire 22-minute episode. Do you remember when they were trapped during an 8-hour plane ride with nowhere? Episode! Chrissy being uncomfortable looking at Macy's Thanksgiving day parade where her husband is performing? Episode! We're going, no kidding, even watching Chrissy Teigen watch the episode of dinner of Office. We are serious about it, in case you do not think so. We want a sitcom John and Chrissy and we want it now!
In any case, that's all we've come to say here. John Legend, Chrissy Teigen and their entire family deserve the world, but also their own kind of I like lucystyle that does not forget the fact that as Chrissy says to run John Voice chair her, she is now making more money than him.
Please, Santa Claus. That's all we want for Christmas!
A legendary Christmas with John and Chrissy broadcast on NBC.
