Calgary police investigate a stab on a train.
It arrived around 6:30 pm Monday night at the 39th Avenue station at MacLeod Trail.
A woman between the ages of 20 and 30 would have sustained life-threatening injuries and would be treated at Foothills Hospital.
The police also watch the Calgary Transit video and discuss with witnesses to determine what happened, but the police say it seems that the victim and the offender know each other.
Officers arrested two men a short distance from the scene.
The investigators removed the CTrain wagon from the tracks so that it could be treated as evidence.
The southbound CTrain platform has since been reopened.
