The most powerful smartphone of Apple to date, the iPhone X, only has 3GB of RAM. And it looks like the Cupertino giant is changing this year by including 4GB of RAM in its next generation iPhones.
The French site iGeneration discovered on Monday that a Geekbench repository for a mysterious device, called "iPhone 11.2", was released online on June 27. As Apple would have launched three iPhones this year, it is not known which variant the tested device becomes.
What is quite striking in the reference entry, it is the mention of 3,748 megabytes. This means that the unit has more RAM than the current generation iPhones that host 2,815 megabytes or 3 GB of RAM. It is worth mentioning that the badyst of KGI Securities and Ming-Chi Kuo, former Apple holder, said that two OLED iPhones will have 4GB of RAM, while the only LCD model will come with 3 GB of RAM, according to MacRumors.
If Kuo 's prediction is good, then the device tested could be the iPhone 11 or its "Plus" variant. It is better to wait for the big fall event of Apple to learn more about the new models of iPhone.
