Liverpool beat Manchester United in the International Champions Cup

Liverpool won a 4-1 win against Manchester United at Michigan Stadium on Saturday in their last game of the American tour.

Mohamed Salah won a penalty for the Reds in the 28th minute after he was blocked by Demitri Mitchell inside the box. Sadio Mane is converted to the field to give his team a 1-0 lead in the International Champion's Cup meeting.

However, Liverpool 's lead did not last long as United equalized three minutes later. Andreas Pereira's free kick went over the wall and in the top corner, while the first period ended with a 1-1 draw.

After several substitutions in the second half, Liverpool resumed the head. Substitute Daniel Sturridge found Xherdan Shaqiri before sending a shot from the right foot to bring the score to 2-1 in the 65th minute.

Eight minutes later, Liverpool was sentenced to a new penalty and Sheyi Ojo scored to double the gap.

Shaqiri then kicked in the air with less than eight minutes left to seal a 4-1 victory for Liverpool.

This marked Liverpool's last game in the United States, as they return to Merseyside before heading to Dublin on Saturday to face Napoli in Dublin, then to welcome Torino to Anfield on August 7th.
