A car that goes into airplane mode in less than three minutes was seen at the China International Import Expo.
The hybrid electric vehicle was developed by the Slovakian company Aeromobile. Company President Juraj Vaculik said the car's design was based on considerations of the current traffic situation and global regulations.
"What is very important is that this vehicle is built and designed in compliance with the current legal environment and the current infrastructure, as well as certificates in force at the time of delivery. We believe that we will soon be able to produce and sell, but also operate the vehicle globally, "said Vaculik.
The event in Shanghai also introduced a range of products from US automakers and technology providers, European brands of pharmaceutical and apparel, African tea exporters and Japanese electronics manufacturers .
