A shooting day in a residential area of ​​Brampton left a man, apparently 20, fighting for his life in a trauma center.

On Tuesday, at approximately 4:30 pm, emergency crews were called in the vicinity of Flowertown Avenue and Major William Sharpe Drive for shooting nearby.

"An altercation took place and a man in his twenties was shot and wounded," Const said. Iryna Yashnyk told reporters on the scene.

Yashnyk said the victim had been found by agents inside a Kirk Drive home, but did not mean who else was inside the house. at the time of the incident.

Paramedics in Peel said the victim was taken from the scene to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
