Man missing in the RM of Rosser

UPDATE: The RCMP said Thursday night that Benjamin Sveinson had been found dead. Earlier Thursday, police said his vehicle was located east of Kenora. The police thank the public for their help with research. They say that no other information will be published.

EARLY: A 25-year-old man from the RM of Rosser went missing on Canada Day, says the RCMP.

Police said the man, Benjamin Sveinson, had been last seen. He is described as six feet tall, weighing 200 pounds, with brown eyes and short brown hair.

Police said that he was last seen in black shorts, a T-shirt and a baseball cap.

Investigators believe that Sveinson would be driving a gray 1999 Toyota Solara with the Manitoba HUX 323 license plate.
