Marvel characters least likely to return after Avengers 4

Avengers 4 will see some of Marvel's greatest characters leave the MCU. The culmination of the first three "phases" defined by Marvel Studios and their president Kevin Feige, beginning with the publication of Iron Man in 2008, the still untitled Avengers The film should end more than ten years of integrated storytelling.

Whatever the form of combined heroes' victory over Thanos – and it is badumed that they will defeat him, otherwise use his help to fight a new, even more menacing villain – it is safe to believe that many characters will not come back not thereafter. The contract of Robert Downey Jr is again in place with the release of Avengers 4, and whereas appearances in Captain America: Civil War and Spider-Man: Homecoming have been done on an ongoing basis, if Tony Stark himself chooses to come back after, it will be on his terms. At present, this seems rather unlikely, each suggestion suggesting Avengers 4 will see the canned man give his life nobly for his teammates and the whole world. There can no longer be an appropriate ending for the man who started everything.

With Tony, Pepper Potts (Gwyneth Paltrow) will probably not be far behind. The only thing that could hold her would be to adopt comic book armor and replace Iron Man. However, there are many other candidates for this job, including Rhodey and even Shuri.

Happy Hogan is one of the Iron Man related characters to come back in the future. Jon Favreau was spotted on the set of Spider-Man: far from home.

Captain America (and Peggy Carter)

Chris Evans did not hesitate to indicate his intention to leave the MCU with Avengers 4. He first teased the departure of Steve Rogers in 2014, which he recently repeated at the end of Avengers 4 take pictures. Whether it's death, a trip back in time or just a retreat, it seems Captain America is leaving the Avengers. As sad as his departure will have been – Evans has long been one of the pillars of the MCU and has made fans of Captain America people who had never seen the lure of the character – it allows Bucky or Falcon the shield (the good money is on Sam Wilson, not Bucky Barnes).

With Captain America, Peggy Carter (Hayley Atwell) does the same. Although the character unfortunately died Captain America: Civil Warshe has been a constant presence at different times of the MCU, with rumors that Peggy would come back once again in Avengers 4 rampant. If Captain America dies or withdraws into the MCU, the desire to bring Peggy back at any cost decreases considerably. In fact, the fact that Peggy appeared after Steve's withdrawal from the MCU would be devoid of all the emotional power that would result. It will probably be goodbye, Miss Carter, unless, by a miracle, her show on ABC is resuscitated.

Thanos

He may not be a hero, but you can certainly bet that Thanos did not manage to get out. Avengers 4 as well. He was the big villain of the MCU teased since The Avengers in 2012, and both parties War of Infinity bow is his big story. And with Avengers: Infinity War ending with the victory of Mad Titan, it means that the next film must surely be his defeat.

How is something even Avengers 4 the leaks have not been mocked, although we can make strong badumptions about his fate. In comics, Thanos has generally lived beyond his atrocities.
