Although it is not known for the moment whether and when Nova cartoon character will debut in the film universe of Marvel, Raf Grbadetti, artistic director of God of the war at Sony Santa Monica, took the initiative to use his talents to imagine what the cosmic hero would look like on the big screen.

Grbadetti has uploaded two images of her Nova drawing on Instagram and Twitter. In the legend, Grbadetti explains that his art was mainly influenced by Marvel Studios' concept designer and conceptual artist, Ryan Meinerding.

The influence of MCU is very obvious, as Nova's outfit seems to be at home, alongside those of his cosmic heroes such as Captain Marvel and Star-Lord, while also distinguishing itself by its unique aesthetic.

The design naturally inspires Nova Body's armor, but with enough freedom for the Human Rocket to feel like a big deal – not to mention the iconic red star logo proudly adorned on the gold helmet.

Speaking of the helmet, he also borrows from those of other heroes of the MCU, its side reminiscent of the helmet worn by the god of thunder itself. Thor: Ragnarok and the jugular evoking memories ofAvengers: War of Infinity Captain America.

It should be remembered that this work is by no means official and that Grbadetti is not affiliated with Marvel Studios. However, after taking a look at his design of Nova, the studio could not be criticized if it was interested in Grbadetti's work.

With a design that manages to feel both familiar and innovative with regard to the MCU, it can be said that if Grbadetti's design was used in a live Nova look, it would be exceptionally well received.
