Microsoft teases Xbox Scarlett in the E3 countdown videos

[ad_1]

Microsoft tweeted videos counting days until it E3 2019 main presentation – and hides allusions to its next generation Xbox Two (more officially called "Xbox Scarlett") consoles in them.

Look at the buildings to the left of each video and a code of letters and numbers appears: the first revealed R55, the second G36and the third showed B0. Twitter user @ Cr8Beyond reconstructed – they are the RGB color code for the scarlet color, indicating the collective code name of the following Xbox machines.

User @ Cr8Beyond was reward for his problem with a free month of Xbox Game Pbad, which is more or less the confirmation of Microsoft. This strongly implies that we will see console news at the company's conference on Sunday, June 9th.

Scarlett is the collective name of two separate machines: one codenamed Anaconda, the high-end pair would be more powerful than the next PS5, and the other Lockhart, a base machine with lower performance and lower price.

This is not the first time Microsoft has dropped social media hints in the days leading up to E3; two years ago, the company posted images with hidden messages dissing Sony for its PS4 Pro, which had a supposedly lower computing power than Project Scorpio (Xbox One X).
