Police found more human remains in the North Toronto property where the dismembered bodies of seven men allegedly killed by Bruce McArthur were found in planters early in the year.
Det.-Sgt. Hank Idsinga, the chief investigator on the case, said the remains were found in a wooded ravine area. The dog units said in May that parts of the human body can be buried there.
Idsinga could not tell who the remains belonged to, or whether they were actually connected to McArthur. Idsinga added that it was the first time that it was discovered that the property was not in the planters.
The police will probably be working on the site for several weeks, Idsinga said.
The ravine sits at the back property on Mallory Crescent in the Leaside neighborhood, where McArthur was working as a landscaper before his arrest in January.

McArthur, 66, was charged with eight counts of first degree murder. The police found remains belonging to seven of these men, but could not locate those of Majeed Kayhan.
On Wednesday, police officers were seen loading black bags filled with items collected in the ravine, in a van.
A police spokesman said the bag contained "merchandise". "Interest" for the investigators, but that no further details would be provided until the coroner had completed the tests on the contents of the bags.
