Three forest fires burn just at South Peachland Wednesday, Pour large amounts of smoke into the sky.
A helicopter picks up water from Okanagan Lake, just off Antlers Beach, Wednesday afternoon. It appears to be the result of the Peachland Creek Forest Fire, which burns in the hills above Peachland, near Brenda Mines Road.
It is not known if the fire threatens structures at this time. Wayne Moore of Castanet, who is currently in the area, says the black smoke comes from the fire.
The largest of the three fires seems to be Mt. Eneas fire, burning just south of Antlers beach.
Moore says that two branches of fire emanated from it, and that it produces the most smoke in the area.
He says that he saw no plane fighting Mt. Eneas fire right now.
The Munro Creek Forest Fire, meanwhile, burns a little further north, just west of Antlers Beach. It seems to burn further away from Highway 97 and produces less smoke.
On the other side of the lake, the Good Creek Forest Fire burns over Rattlesnake Island in the burnt hills of the famous Okangan Mountain Park. The Wildfire Crews of British Columbia do not seem to fight the Good Creek fire at that time.
The BC Wildfire Service has not yet provided an update on the size of these fires

The search for a missing man in West Kelowna ended tragically Tuesday night after the discovery from her body over Lake Shannon to West Kelowna.
Shortly after noon, the RCMP began an investigation into a missing person, after family members of a 52-year-old man from West Kelowna worried about his well-being and reported his disappearance to the police

"During a search of the home of their missing, our investigators discovered that his all-terrain vehicle was not recovered," said Corporal Jesse O. Donaghey of the RCMP. Kelowna. The 14-year-old girl who has fallen from a horse near Bear Creek Road suffered Tuesday. According to emergency teams at the scene, "lower body injuries", but it was airlifted to the hospital in a stable state.

Rescue teams had their hands full after finding a van in the ditch on Monday night.
The truck appears to have descended Glenrosa Street just after 11:05 pm from Crystal Mountain and pbaded over a cattle guard and into the ditch in block 3700 Glenrosa Road.
The truck stopped on the side and the driver sustained minor injuries.
Motor 34, two police and an ambulance were on the scene and the road was descending on one lane
