New Macs and MacBooks confirmed, before the October 30 event

It now seems almost certain that we will have new Macs and MacBooks at the press conference organized by Apple on October 30, which previously had to focus on the iPad Pro.

The company – as reported by the French site Consomac – has registered four model numbers with the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC), which in the past indicated the imminent announcement of new products.

The new numbers are A1993, A2115, A2116 and A1932. Consomac thinks that the first three all refer to desktop computers. So expect the new Mac mini and / or iMac models to appear. it is thought that the latter refers to a new MacBook or MacBook Air. It is still too early to launch the new Mac Pro (Apple has confirmed that it would not be here until 2019 at the earliest), but we could hear about its progress.

This comes to relieve the neglected Mac user base, which has until now seen only part of its range updated in 2018. New MacBook Pro models have been announced in July.

The invitations to the October 30 event feature individualized art logos and carry the slogan "There is still a lot to do", suggesting that there will be a creative focus. For this reason, we still think that the iPad Pro (accompanied by a new Apple pencil, for example) will occupy a central place – and it remains possible, especially if the updates are minor, to drop the new Macs and MacBooks via a press release a day or a week later.
