Players appreciate weekly Hello Games development updates, while the company continues to personalize the gaming experience, as promised, and the studio does not seem to want to stop.

We enjoyed the release of weekly updates on the development and highlighting of what players are doing in our game. It's so rewarding, and often very touching, to see how No Man's Sky and the community has grown and evolved.
We listened carefully and we work hard on problem solving and improvements. We wanted to share some behind-the-scenes news.
Although most members of the team have been busy with weekly updates, some are working on something else, our first update titled since NEXT.
A new free update will be available next week for all players. We called it the Abyss because it focuses on some of the strangest elements of No Man's Sky, in keeping with the theme of this season.
This is another small step of a longer trip for us. Thank you for joining us.
Something strange in this way comes, it seems. Leave speculation on what this update entails. The update has the potential to be the largest of the studios, as NEXT has given them enough ground to unfold their wings.
