OnePlus 6: A red color variant can be launched on July 2nd

OnePlus is ready to launch a new red variant of color of his flagship OnePlus 6 on July 2nd.

OnePlus 6 could get a new red color variant from July 2nd, which is tomorrow. The Chinese company has released a 15-second video on its official Twitter page, alluding to the official debut of the new color variant. "Starting Now: C61422, Do you want to continue?", Read the OnePlus tweet. For those who do not know it, C61422 is a RGB code for Dark Red. The tweet also contains a link to the OnePlus 6 product page on the company's website. Separately, the OnePlus 6 Red color scheme was leaked in live images by tipster Slashleaks .

OnePlus 6 Red is likely to come with the same specifications as the original OnePlus 6, except for a different color of course. The images reveal a bright red back cover with the OnePlus logo in white color. The phone could come with 8GB of RAM + 256GB of storage variant, but we will have to wait for the official details to find out more. As a reminder, OnePlus had launched the Lava Red color option for the OnePlus 5T from last year and its price was the same as that of the original model. OnePlus 6 was formalized in May and the smartphone is exclusive at Amazon in India. It is already available in the Midnight Black, Mirror Black and Silk White color variants. The OnePlus 6 price in India starts at Rs 34,999 for the base variant which has 6GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. The 8GB memory with 128GB of storage costs Rs 39,999. The limited edition of white silk comes only in the storage variant of 8GB RAM and 128GB. The OnePlus 6 Midnight Black edition with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage is priced at Rs 43,999.

As for the notebook of loads, OnePlus 6 sports a 6.28-inch Full HD + AMOLED display with an aspect ratio of 19: 9. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor and runs on Google Android 8.1 Oreo with OxygenOS 5.1 skin OnePlus on the top. The phone is backed by a 3300mAh battery.
