OxygenOS 9.0.5 brings some bugfixes and improvements
OnePlus has officially released the OxygenOS 9.0.5 software update for its latest flagship product OnePlus 6T. The update is minor in nature and provides only a few system optimizations, including enhancements for Screen Unlock or the built-in fingerprint sensor and unspecified bug fixes. Due to the minimal nature of the update, the file size of the OxygenOS 9.0.5 update on the OnePlus 6T is approximately 94 MB and is being deployed via the OTA method. OnePlus says that the OTA will unfold in stages.
We have received the latest update OxygenOS 9.0.5 on the OnePlus 6T review unit provided by the manufacturer, but Screen Unlock's improvement still does not seem obvious. In addition, there does not appear to be a major change in the user interface compared to other unspecified bug fixes and improvements mentioned. The update will be published in a progressive manner to avoid any major bug before a larger deployment.
As a reminder, the latest update of the OxygenOS 9.0.4 software also brought some improvements for Screen Unlock. It also offered improvements in terms of full screen motion, Nightscape mode, Studio Lighting and brought the latest November Android security patch to OnePlus 6T.
