The Timmins Police Service was called early this morning at the Porcupine Mall for the discovery of a deceased person.
The scene is under the control of the Timmins Police Service – Criminal Investigation Division and access to certain areas is denied to the public for investigation purposes.
The identity of the deceased has not yet been confirmed.
The investigation is in its initial phase to determine if a criminal act has been involved.
This is considered an isolated incident where there is no public security concern attached.
The Timmins Police Service will issue an additional press release as more details become available.
