Police search for B.C. driver who hit Mountie, breaking his arm

BURNABY, BC – RCMP says one RCMP member had a broken arm while trying to arrest a driver who was using an electronic device while driving in Burnaby, BC

the vehicle, but the man hit it and left.

Chuck McDonald from the Burnaby RCMP says the incident shows the danger that officers run when they do their job

He says the driver should do the right thing and contact the police.

The suspect was driving a gray Nitro Dodge and is described as a South Asian man with a heavy shaven head.
