Police Seek Recovery of Found Body in Tsawwassen First Nation – British Columbia

Delta police were called to Tsawwbaden on Wednesday where a body was found in waters off the Tsawwbaden First Nation (TFN).

Police said that the body was reported around 10:30 am and that officers found it in the tidal zones of the PNT grounds.

Investigators said the coroner was called to the scene and Delta officers were working with the Vancouver Police Maritime Unit to try to recover the human remains.

"We understand that a discovery of this nature obviously worries many people," said Delta Police spokesman Cris Leykauf.

"At this point, our officers are focused on successfully recovering the deceased."

It is not known if the death is considered suspicious.
