Police said that the officer responded to a criminal complaint and discharged his weapon. The police announce to CBC News that more information will be available later in the day.
According to a woman who was inside the residence on Wednesday morning, the house is a rental and has the same tenants for about a year and a half.
The RNC remained on scene Wednesday morning, with police records blocking the driveway and back of the house.
