Proportional representation (PR) representatives in BC claim that their proposed poorly defined models will give us more votes and every vote counts, so better governance.
There is no evidence that anything like this happens. In fact, there is ample evidence that the opposite will happen, just look at the economic and political lockers that have become Greece, Italy, Spain, Germany, Belgium and many from other voting countries.

in proportion to gross domestic product. Statistics show that voting by some form of PR increases spending as a percentage of GDP.
For example:
• Scandinavian countries 47 to 58% (highest: Denmark)
• Mediterranean countries 45 to 52% (highest: Greece)
• France 56%
• Belgium 53%
• New Zealand 48%
Where the North American first past the post system is used, government spending as a percentage of GDP is generally lower – Canada 42%, US 41%
PR means that workers and businesses have less money to spend on consumer goods or savings
. What does PR mean to the average citizen? It means higher taxes, more bureaucracy, and governments unable to sit in Parliament while coalitions are forged and re-cast behind the scenes between naturally opposing parties. This means that radical and extreme views can dominate politics while ruling parties are forced to capitulate to single-number parties that can overthrow the government.
Unpopular policies become law when leaders cling to power. Look at the change in German immigration policy after six months of building a coalition with the Bavarian partner of the ruling party controlling immigration. Italy refusing access to the port to refugee ships, the Czech Republic refuses to accept migrants while the populist minority makes the decision to stop them. Look at Norway where even your personal tax return is open to anyone looking at your most intimate financial results.
Last but not least, the countries using public relations have all become socialist countries by Canadian standards, the democratic principles upon which Canada has functioned. become one of the most desirable living places in the world, risk of disappearing. Do not let this happen. Vote no to PR
