Disruptive Games launches an extensive, multi-month open beta for its hero-based shooter Megalith on PlayStation VR tomorrow. A new trailer showing the gameplay has also been released. You can watch the trailer below.

The video presents the fight, which seems to be a type of lob shot. There are combat minions like a MOBA like League of Legends. Each character seems to have a unique weapon and skill set.

The game features five characters called Titans with special abilities. Each match has two teams of two Titans trying to destroy the base of their opponents. Players progress on the map by destroying enemy towers to weaken the base of their opponents.

During the beta phase, players will have access to two heroes at any time. Heroes change places every week and each player will have a different pair of heroes to keep the variety in play. If players pre-order the game during the beta, they will have access to all five characters at once. Other pre-order bonuses include PlayStation Avatars, a Titan DLC out of the game and exclusive skins.

The beta will be active for "the next few months," according to an article in the PlayStation blog published by Disruptive Games. Disruptive Games also detailed the five heroes, their abilities and their unique appearance. You can see them below in our gallery.

Megalith will be launched on PlayStation Store for PSVR on January 9, 2019. Preorders will also begin at a discounted price, although this price is not known at the time of writing this article.
