Reaction on Twitter: The Raptors treat DeRozan in Spurs for Kawhi

[ad_1]

Hello, world of sport. There is nothing like a wholesale NBA to move the day forward, is not it?

The Toronto Raptors reportedly reached an agreement to acquire San Antonio Spurs star Kawhi Leonard. The package returning to San Antonio is centered around the icon of the Raptors franchise DeMar DeRozan.

One could say that the off-season NBA has created more shocking titles than the league's regular season in recent years. this fire is the least we can say.

As one might expect, the NBA Twitter is becoming absolutely banana right now. Here are some of the best reactions

It does not matter … When I think of Toronto Raptors Basketball … I think of DeMar Derozan … He deserves a statue …

Dear fans of Toronto,
It is time for you to build a statue of @DeMar_DeRozan No matter what happens. He deserves it

It's going to be hard / weird to check the Raptors without @DeMar_DeRozan .
It will be missed!
Good luck in your new challenge !!!
You'll be even better amigo!

Of all the iterations …. this should be the best the Raptors could hope for: keeping Siakam and Anunoby is huge. Green an excellent pick-up; Raptors 2019 first round choice (vs. future choices) likely in the 25-30 range. https://t.co/NC0hKSHZAz

I asked DeMar DeRozan for his commitment to Toronto and the Raptors in October 2014. Here's what that he said then, and his pbadion for the city and the jersey and his job has never wavered since. pic.twitter.com/2LQxnFbb13

NO SIAKAM OR OG MASAI I LIKE YOU https://t.co / az7lFMgsFW

Raptors forever: We can not get high profile players to engage in this franchise.
DeRozan in 2016: I'm engaging you guys.
Raptors today: You can leave now

Soon, when the sadness of DeMar leaving our city, and the end of the greatest era in the history of the Raptors, we realize that Kawhi f * !? # * Leonard is on the Raptors, and will celebrate.

Meanwhile, @DeMar_DeRozan does not recant from allegation that Toronto lied to him about the subject. a potential trade, by source.

Tracy McGrady was on the verge of something special, sent to the ENT. Vince Carter crossed 7 irons, forced his way to NJN. Chris Bosh let his dreads bounce into the post, then chased rings into MIA. DeMar DeRozan embraced everything from being a Raptor; TOR on the verge of dropping him to SAS

Raptors really sent DeRozan back to LeBron's lecture who is a cold-blooded man

Toronto is a AWESOME city

If Paul George can stay in OKC, Kawhi Leonard can definitely stay in Toronto.

– Micah Adams (@ MicahAdams13) July 18, 2018

Have not commented yet on Kawhi's trick because it seemed so absurd and usually the trades are just not together.

DeMar had the best Toronto Raptor career of all time. If that is the end, it has been an absolute pleasure to watch it improve. Definition of self-made all-star.

– Coop (@CoopNBA) July 18, 2018

The Raptors have not mortgaged their future in a trade for one of the top 3 talents in the league.

How is this possible?
