Realme made its pretty solid debut this year by launching four affordable smartphones in India. The Realme 1, Realme 2, Realme 2 Pro and Realme C1 all bring unique features that have attracted a lot of consumer attention, leading to impressive sales figures for the company in its first year. The next smartphone from Realme will also bring a unique feature because it could be the first phone to be powered by the latest Helio P70 chipset.

Realme on thursday tweeted that it will be the first brand to launch Helio P70 products worldwide. This suggests that the next Realme smartphone will be powered by MediaTek's latest midrange processor and that the launch could take place soon enough. The tweet comes just a day after MediaTek launched the SoC P70 as a successor to the Helio P60 chipset. The new Helio P70 SoC is an Octa-Core chipset based on a 12nm FinFET process. MediaTek said the Helio P70 chipset would offer 13% more performance than its predecessor. The processor also incorporates an improved artificial intelligence engine with up to 30% improvement in artificial intelligence processing compared to the Helio P60.

Realme's tweet confirming Helio P70 for his future smartphone suggests that the company is close to an ad. While the phone will certainly be launched in India, Realme will also launch the device in some global markets and plans to expand its reach. The Realme 2 Pro, launched in September, was the company's first smartphone to go out of India to markets such as Indonesia.

For now, we do not know much about the next smartphone Realme. At the launch of Realme 2 Pro in September, the company had announced that a new smartphone would be announced before the end of 2018. It will probably be the successor of Realme 1 launched with a Helio P60 chipset. The Helio P60 is a pretty impressive midrange chipset, which means we can expect a very good speed from his successor. It will be interesting to see the performance of the SoC compared to the Snapdragon 660 chipset that powers the Realme 2 Pro.
