Red Dead Redemption 2 is a really great game from the open world. Spend some time in his world and you may never want to leave him. Just rolling and seeing what you find can lead to unexpected pleasure. At the same time, it is helpful to have an orientation so that you can fully live the life of the outlaws. We spent more than 60 hours at the heart of Rockstar's latest open world adventure and came out with an abundance of tips to put you on the right track.

Understanding hearts
You must be concerned at all times with three main statistics: health, stamina and blind eye. With the HUD activated, each of us is represented by a circle, with a white outline indicating how much of each you have left. Being shot at? Your health indicator falls. Sabotage a mountain? Your stamina is drawn. Slow down time for long stretching? Your dead eye is exhausting. When low, the meters turn red.
What you really need to pay attention to is the hearts. At the center of each circle are icons (heart for health, lightning for endurance, eye for Dead Eye), which can also be filled in white. Hearts directly affect the regeneration of statistics. If they are empty, the regeneration is very slow.
The way you keep them from running out is double. First of all, do not be reckless. Taking excessive damage, running constantly and hanging around in Dead Eye for too long destroys your kernels. If you want to keep your nuclei naturally, here's how:
- Health: quite simple. Stay safe and do not take damage.
- Endurance: walk, do not run. Stay still if necessary.
- Dead Eye: Charges as you accumulate loss of life.
Trust us, your hearts will run out. It's inevitable. So you should always have tonics with you (for health and stamina) and tobacco products (for Dead Eye).
How to use Dead Eye
If you played Red Dead Redemption, you know Dead Eye, the mechanism that slows down time for you to tag and kill enemies in quick succession. In Red Dead Redemption 2Dead Eye is a very important mechanism that is often useful. For this reason, you must use it strategically. If you only confront a few enemies, you probably do not need to waste it. After all, in many missions, the valves open after you have removed the first data.
Dead eye in RDR 2 can be used in two ways. You can score multiple targets for shots or aim and shoot manually. The latter helps to keep Dead Eye if you are fast. One of the strategies we found effective was to align our shots in the vicinity (usually around the head) before activating Dead Eye. In this way, you only need to slightly adjust your goal before taking your shot.
Dead Eye also becomes the key on horseback. Many missions have hunting scenes. Riding and aiming in real time can be a challenge, but Dead Eye makes it a kid's game.
Horse care, collage and rebirth
Early in Red Dead Redemption 2you go on a mission to buy a new horse that you can then name. This is not just an opportunity to choose a nice name. In RDR 2Your horse is really your best friend. You go everywhere with Huey. (My horse calls Huey He's the best.) But unlike other previous games, the way you treat your pet friend matters.
At the basic level, your horse has a core of health and endurance just like you. Allow your horse to suffer too much damage, whether it involves enemy fire, clashes or clashes, and your horse may die. Forever. This is true. RDR 2 horse is permadeath, and you do not want that to happen.
Fortunately, you can avoid this by bringing Horse Revivers with you. These can be purchased at general stores. They are a little expensive, but you still need them. If your horse breaks down, you will have the opportunity to revive it or lower it. If you do not have a horse revive, you'll just have to leave it there or do the unthinkable.
On a more general level, Arthur and his horse unite over time, which leads to greater self-confidence and greater talent for the horse (drifting, running, jumping, etc.). To help you make connections, be sure to pat your horse once in a while (we are serious) and feed him regularly. You can buy horse supplies at the general store.
Do not forget to take weapons from your horse
Your horse also serves as an additional bag. Your weapons, especially rifles and shotguns, are often stored on your horse. Remember to collect the weapons you want before dismounting. This does not happen automatically.
Dress properly and bring a change of clothes
There are myriads of amazing outfits. Everyone looks great on Arthur, but do not forget to dress for the elements. Each outfit is rated for cold, medium or warm temperatures. You will know if you are wearing an outfit that negatively affects Arthur's statistics from a prompt on the screen. That said, it's worth taking with you some extra gear on the road. You can change outfit at the camp under your tent and buy new ones at the tailor. When you change, you can choose to put two outfits in your horse's bag. So you can take one for each type of weather.
Plan your moves in the fighting
You can not take a lot of damage in Red Dead Redemption 2. In a somewhat realistic spirit, if you take a bunch of bullets, the screen will darken to indicate that you are almost in a state of survival. One more shot and you're dead. That's why you should always stay safe and, before you go, know where you are going now. It's not supposed to be played as a shooter. This is really a cover shooting game, and you should keep this in mind when you are at the heart of incendiary fighting if you want to succeed.
Pillage takes time but do it
Every bandit, lawyer and innocent you kill can be looted. People do not often have a lot of money on them, but that's not the question. Often, you will get some useful tonics for your health and stamina or tobacco / alcohol for Dead Eye (and sometimes for your health / stamina).
Looting is a great way to make sure you do not have to go overboard at the general store. The looting animation itself takes a few seconds and, careful, you are vulnerable during this time. Be careful before looting, but do not forget to do it. If sometimes you simply do not have the time, make sure you still walk close to the body because you can automatically pick up ammo.
Pay for your crimes
When you do bad things, the law seeks you. The Wanted system behaves similarly to other Rockstar open world games. If you commit a crime in town and it is reported or seen, the police will pursue you. When you are actively sought after, you can not go on a mission in the area. You can flee or hide and the police will stop looking for you, but the bonus on your head will always be there when you return to the area.
The map is separated into regions and it is possible, and likely, that you have bonus rewards on your head in multiple areas at once. Some Wanted scenarios occur automatically during missions. Anything else you bring on yourself. The important thing to remember is that if you have a bonus on your head in a region, you never know when a group of bounty hunters will show up. For us, they tended to arrive when Arthur was alone without support. This can create problems if you are on a mission. So sometimes, you may want to simply pay off your premiums by going to the post office in any city.
Do not forget to eat
Food can range from food to alcohol to cigarettes, but it's the kind of food you need to stay healthy. No, seriously, you must eat regularly to maintain your weight. That means shoveling biscuits or eating meat cooked on the fire. If you do not eat, Arthur will lose weight and be more vulnerable. On the other hand, if you eat too much, it's like adding weight to your cowboy boots. He will run out of energy faster. We found that eating early in a mission kept Arthur happy and healthy. You can acquire food from all kinds of processes. You can loot your enemies, search cabinets, buy a stock at the general store, or hunt / fish and cook your findings on fire.
How to travel fast
We encourage you to take beautiful horseback rides through the countryside, but you can quickly travel in different ways. As soon as you jump, you have to buy a train ticket or a stagecoach ticket that can take you to different cities. These tickets can be purchased at post offices. By saving money, however, you can use a better way to travel quickly to the camp.
First, you must purchase an upgrade to the Dutch tent. After buying the Dutch upgrade, you can buy a special card for Arthur. With the new map, you can travel quickly to specific areas such as camp towns and settlements. Because these upgrades cost around $ 500, you will not be able to unlock them immediately. You will still have to drive a lot (it's not such a bad thing), but quick trips certainly help. Your horse will automatically travel to your new location as well.
Rob trains and thanks us later
As mentioned, individuals rarely have a ton of money on them. Rarely. One of the fastest and most satisfying solutions to fill your bag is to fly a train full of people. Train tracks are woven throughout the map. Unmistakable horns and horns will help guide the pbadage of the train. You can ride next and jump from your horse to continue. From here you can steal individual pbadengers as well as cargo. You will often find valuable trinkets and stuffed money clips.
Be wary of people asking for help
We are all ready to help our fellow travelers, but know that not everyone you meet is necessarily tasty. Sometimes you will be asked for help, but you will have them turned on. That should not stop you from elevating your honor – the moral system that dictates how the world treats you – but you should be ready to press the button and defend yourself at all times.
Improve your camp
In each camp, there is a contribution box that represents the gang funds. Next door is a great book that allows you to buy camp upgrades. These improvements include tents for supply, cooking and crafts, and even some useful means of transportation, such as a boat (and the aforementioned fast moving map). At first these upgrades may seem expensive, but in a short time they will be nothing more than a drop of water. And they help keep your bag full when you are settled away from the city.
Make wise choices
One of the coolest aspects of Red Dead Redemption 2 do all your choices really matter. We do not want to ruin anything, but you have to make good decisions. You are free to be as good or bad as you like, but we recommend never to refuse a mission. Some narrative missions are technically optional, but each narrative mission is great. You should all play them.
Stop and take it all
It's not really a tip, but it's easy to get into story missions by playing back and forth. They are all excellent, so we do not blame you if you want to keep walking. From time to time, it's really nice to explore without a goal. Take a break and go on your own adventure. The world is beautiful and there are many things you can miss if you move from one mission to another.
