The Galaxy Tab S4 turns out to be a very interesting tablet if recent reports and elusive renderings are something to do. The successor to the Galaxy Tab S3 should sport thinner glbades than ever before for a wide and immersive display. We now have some tips from Courtesy Evan Blbad, which pretty much confirms that the Galaxy Tab S4 will bring close glbades, the S Pen will see a new design language and both will come in blank. The tablet should be unveiled alongside the Galaxy Note 9 at an Unpacked event on August 9.
Blbad posted a couple of renderings on Twitter revealing the Galaxy Tab S4 and the redesigned S Pen. Notably, both the tablet and the stylus will come in a white color option, with the exception of the expected black color variant. Speaking of the tablet first, we can see the front at an angle, revealing thinner glbades all around. We can also notice the missing home button, which has been reported in the past. The black keyboard cover will be an optional accessory according to Blbad. The cover hides the back and sides of the tablet, which will be white according to Blbad.
Samsung has focused on the stylus a bit, suggesting new features, although the details are thin. A rendering released by Blbad shows the new stylus next to the Galaxy Tab S3 S Pen to show what's different. From the rendering, it seems that Samsung gives up the matte finish and goes with a shiny look. The last tip does not mention any other details regarding the Galaxy Tab S4. However, we know some information about the material courtesy of a reference list last month. The Galaxy Tab S4 could bring a 10.5-inch Super AMOLED display (1600X2560). The benchmark also revealed that the Galaxy Tab S4 will be powered by the Snapdragon 835 chipset from last year with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage.
As for cameras, the tablet will likely carry a 12-megapixel sensor on the back and a 7-megapixel sensor at the front. This suggests that the front camera is being improved compared to the Galaxy Tab S3. Like its predecessor, the Galaxy Tab S4 will also support LTE and a battery of 6000mAh or 7 300mAh. It is planned to run Android 8.1 Oreo out-of-the-box.
