Samsung Galaxy W2019 flip smartphone is leaking again; no audio jack 3.5 mm spotted

Samsung will launch the 2019 version of its double-hull smartphone in China. The Korean electronics giant has a tradition of launching each year an expensive double-hull smartphone with two screens and flagship hardware. After previous models like the W2016, the W2017, the W2018 will be the Galaxy W2019.

Before its official launch, the Galaxy W2019 has fled several times, and a new set of leaks shows the future smartphone from all angles. The biggest thing to remember is that the Galaxy W2019 does not seem to differ much from its predecessor and it still has the same block shape and the same form factor. The Galaxy W2019 will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset and should feature a 4.2-inch screen on both sides.

The configuration of the camera on the Galaxy W2019 should be similar to that of the Galaxy Note 9 and the Galaxy S9 +. It will likely be a 12 megapixel dual rear camera setup with a wide angle camera and another telephoto camera. It is also likely to feature a dedicated Bixby button on the left side of the device.

The right side of the device will host the power button and the volume rocker. There is a USB Type-C port at the bottom but Samsung gets rid of the 3.5mm headphone jack. This decision suggests that LG will be the only company to abandon the proprietary audio port.

The Galaxy W2019 is expected to cost between $ 2,500 and $ 3,000 when it goes on sale. The price seems similar to that of its predecessors and will only be sold in China. It should not reach a sales record, but it will serve as a collector's material, especially for wealthy people in China.
