Scarlett Johansson in his next film because his ultimate career goal is to take an acting job from a member of each marginalized group.

First the Japanese, and now Scarlett Johansson takes the trans community with his new movie Rub and Tug. I can not wait for her film Rosa Parks to come out. https://t.co/nbmoMkoNlN

Actors who are trans do not even get audition for anything other than ROLES OF TRANS CHARACTERS. This is the real problem. We can even go to the room. Cast actors that are TRANS as non-TRANS characters. I YOU OSEURS #RupertSanders @NewRegency #ScarlettJohansson https://t.co/RkrW8MeGcG

April Reign, the activist behind the # OscarsSoWhite campaign, was among the critics.

"We have seen male and female actors move away from their roles in recent years so that a person who could bring a more nuanced experience to the character is allowed to shine, c & # 39; is what should happen here, "she writes.

Just so you do not think I'm jumping around, it's me in 2016 who talks about Eddie Redmayne, a cis-like actor, who plays a trans character. #OscarsSoWhite has always been about all marginalized communities, and allowed these communities to tell their own stories. pic.twitter.com/6LLExoO4yU

We have seen male and female actors in recent years move away roles so that a person who could bring a more nuanced experience to the character was allowed to shine. That's what should happen here. Rub & Tug is not your movie, ScarJo. No need to monopolize. #OscarsSoWhite pic.twitter.com/auwZEeVTtH

When approached to comment on the backlash, a representative of Johansson told Bustle Online Magazine: "Tell Them That They Can Be"

Tambor, Leto and Huffman are cisgender actors who have been acclaimed and rewarded for representing trans characters on the screen (in the Amazon series Transparent and films Dallas Buyers Club and TransAmerica respectively

Canadian director Jean-Marc Vallée, who directed Leto in his Oscar-winning role in Dallas Buyers Club says that he does not agree with the game.

"[It] does not mean that because I'm trying to what kind of role do I have to go to this type of person? "He pretended," he said Wednesday in Montreal.

Val Lée said that he was open to seeing transgender actors at the auditions, but "it's not a goal to target … an astronaut because your character is an astronaut." [19659023] Ghost in the Meeting Shell

Rub & Tug Johansson with Rupert Sanders, who directed it in the adaptation of controversial Live-action of Ghost in the Shell .

This project was criticized because Johansson played a character who – in the famous original manga series – was a Japanese woman

Shooted as another instance of Hollywood whitening, Ghost in the Shell finally failed at the box office and received lamentable criticism.
