Sean Shelby's Shoes: Who's next for Anthony Smith and the other winning fighters of the UFC Fight Night 134?

[ad_1]

The fourth of the five UFC events this month took place Sunday with the UFC Fight Night 134, which was held at Barclaycard Arena in Hamburg with a main map of six fights on FS1 .

Anthony Smith (29-14 MMA, 6 -3 UFC) stole the show dramatically when he worked on former UFC light heavyweight champion Mauricio Rua (25-11 MMA, 9-9 UFC) for a brutal knockout of first round in the main event

"Lionheart" produced a brilliant performance after a slow-paced construction at the head of the poster. Corey Anderson (11-3 MMA, 8-3 UFC), Abu Azaitar (14-1-1 MMA, 1-0 UFC), Marcin Tybura (17-4 MMA, 4-3 UFC), Danny Roberts (16-3) MMA, 5-2 UFC) and Nasrat Haqparast (9-2 MMA, 1-1 UFC) all had their hands up but had to go to the dashboards.

After each event, fans wonder who will win with next. And with another UFC action night in the rearview mirror, it's time to go ahead, put on a pair of shoes Sean Shelby and Mick Maynard, and play UFC matchmaker for the winning fighters of the UFC Fight Night 134. Davi Ramos

Should fight: Davi Ramos
Why they should fight: After some pre-fight heat, Haqparast had the last laugh inside octagon when he overcame Marc Diakiese for a three-rd victory unbalanced waves.

Haqparast's pressure was far too much for Diakiese to handle, and the result was a unanimous win in his favor. It was a promising performance from the 22-year-old prospect, who seems to have all the tools to become a competitor in the stacked lightweight division.

Although Haqparast showed some limitations in his first loss to Marcin Held at UFC Fight Night 118 in October, he has apparently come a long way since then. He fought an opponent with a very different style, however, and it would be interesting to see how he gets closer to a grappling-based foe for his next fight. Ramos (8-2 MMA, 2-1 UFC) is a world clbad submission player with a lot of skill when it comes to this side of the game.

Danny Roberts

Alan Jouban

Should fight: Alan Jouban
Why they have to fight: He was forced to go through an exhausting three rounds grind, but Roberts got his hand up after receiving a handful of promotional newcomer David Zawada.

Roberts said he suffered a rib injury during the training camp and could not do much fighting before the fight. He had to do a lot, but the adrenaline transported him and allowed him to leave the octagon with a shared decision triumph

Zawada went into the fight to replace Jouban (16 -6 MMA, 7- 4 UFC) with a notice of one week. He gave a valiant effort, but after Roberts pulled out the win, handing the original booking with Jouban together (as long as he's healthy in a reasonable time) is an even more significant fight to be made.

Marcin Tybura [19659019BlagoyIvanov

Should Struggle: Blagoy Ivanov
Why They Should Fight: In a fight that was crucial to staying relevant in the heavyweight division of the world. UFC, Tybura broke his skid to two fights when he faced another struggling fighter in Stefan Struve.

Tybura gave Struve his third consecutive loss when he won a unanimous victory with a tough game plan. Now Tybura is back on the winning track and can pursue another rising fighter in the weight clbad.

Although Ivanov (16-2 MMA, 0-1 UFC) sort of a somewhat disappointing performance against former Junior Champion Dos Santos in his debut at the UFC Earlier this month, he is still a former champion under the WSOF banner and comes out of a showcase of the main event. The fight showed that Ivanov could probably use a step down in the competition, however, and Tybura fits the role.

Abu Azaitar

Trevor Smith

Should Struggle: Trevor Smith
Why They Should Fight: Azaitar waited a long time to debut at the UFC, but this Was finally in Hamburg that he managed to impose himself.

Azaitar won a unanimous victory over Vitor Miranda when the construction was a solid resume. He lost only once in 16 fights and clearly has talent. Since he's 32, he remains to be seen until he can go, but he's at the UFC, which is the right place to find out.

The best use of Azaitar is to confront him against other middleweights. A weight clbad veteran name like Smith (15-6 MMA, 5-5 UFC) would bring the fight to Azaitar and help find where his cap is.

Corey Anderson

Ilir Latifi

Should fight: Ilir Latifi
Why they should fight : After several instances of failing to break through the Lightweight Division's elite, Anderson finally had his moment when he scored a victory defining Glover Teixeira's career.

Notice of 12 days, Anderson has shown willingness against former title challenger, Teixeira, and won a unanimous victory. The result should catapult "Overtime" to a higher rank in the ranking than ever before. 39, he has never seen, and now Anderson must be taken seriously as a competitor on the rise.

Before Anderson was added to the map, Teixeira had to fight Latifi (14-5 MMA, 7- 3 UFC) The Swede was forced to retire due to a rib injury, but he will only be seen emment not healing too long. Latifi has won five of his last six bouts and has positioned himself to get a remarkable showdown at 205 pounds. Teixeira was that, but now he has been replaced by Anderson in what would be a legitimate clash of contenders.

Anthony Smith

Should Fight: Alexander Gustafsson
Why They Should Fight: The video above to see why Smith should fight Gustafsson (18-4 MMA, 10-4 UFC) next
