CALGARY – Tyler Seguin scored in overtime and added a pbad as the Dallas Stars survived by scoring a third-period lead to beat the Calgary Flames 4 to 3 on Wednesday night.
After twenty-four seconds of overtime, Jamie Benn propelled the puck into the slot where Seguin was wide open and he managed a perfect shot inside the goal post on David Rittich.
Rittich claimed that Benn had interfered, but after viewing the video, the referees granted the goal.
Jason Spezza, Benn and Gavin Bayreuther also scored for Dallas (13-10-3), resulting in a winless skid on the road.

He made 30 more saves to improve to 5-5-2.
After starting on veteran Mike Smith, Rittich finished with 24 saves. He falls to 8-2-1.
The Stars took advantage at 18:02 of the second period, needing only 23 seconds to score a power play.
TJ Brodie failed to tie Benn, who was posted to the front and he perfectly flown a Seguin pbad.
Dallas hit first, scoring 41 seconds after the first shot.
Spezza slipped into the slot undetected and scored a pbad from Radek Faksa behind Rittich.
Down 1-0 in the first period, Calgary received three consecutive power plays in the first period, but could not generate any dangerous chances for goaltender Anton Khudobin.
The Flames tied up shortly after, with the fourth line. Mark Jankowski created Hathaway whose one-stop shop was partially stopped via Khudobin.
