After bringing back his open title IC Title Open Challenge, Seth Rollins would remain against the only player who had beaten him before, Dolph Ziggler.
Rollins continues to badume his responsibilities as champion of the fighting despite the problems with Dean Ambrose. Ziggler has risen to the challenge by claiming Rollins' number, but is also facing a series of defeats since losing the team titles. Ziggler would stage a major fight, but "Monday Night Rollins" would win in a 20-minute battle. Ziggler would lose another singles match and his role as Drew McIntyre's teammate could be questioned.
