With regard to space events, 2019 will be an extraordinary year.
This does not mean that 2018 will be an easy act to follow. After all, SpaceX has launched the world's most powerful operational rocket (called Falcon Heavy), sent a car beyond Mars and helped launch more orbital rockets than any other year since 1990.
NASA, with a few exceptions, also had a memorable year: the US space agency announced its first commercial astronaut crews, launched a new planet-like planetary hunt, sent a probe to "touch "the sun and landed at InSight robot on Mars.
Meanwhile, China crashed an old space station into the ocean and launched a small fleet of lunar satellites.
But 2019 will be a doozy – a feeling that NASA's administrator, Jim Bridenstine, has pointed to after NASA's recent landing on Mars.
"Right now at NASA, there is more going on than in I-do-not-not-how-many years," said Bridenstine at a live show. "It's a drought, and all of a sudden, there are all these activities."
