Sprints 'Crash Bandicoot' to become the fastest selling 2018 sales switch

Crash Bandicoot and his awful three-quarter jeans are back, and Nintendo fans have swallowed copies of his latest outing faster than a bunch of juicy wumpa fruit.

Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy currently ranks first on the UK charts and is the most sold Switch game of 2018 to date.

The trilogy, which contains remastered versions of the original Crash Bandicoot and its sequels Cortex Strikes Back and Warped was originally published on PlayStation 4 last summer. . The game has been a huge success on PS4, selling more than 2.5 million copies by the end of September 2017 alone.

The collection is now available on the Nintendo Switch, Xbox One and PC, allowing more fans to relive their adventures with the world. one of the most iconic video game characters of the '90s. Fortunately for gamers, the games have aged better than the fashion sense of Crash.

The original three games were developed by the Sony Naughty Dog studio, best known nowadays for monster hits Uncharted and The Last of Us . Vicarious Visions managed the remastered collection, completely recreating the graphics while retaining the gameplay that Crash fans know and love.

The remastered trilogy also included new features to make the games a little more modern, including an improved backup system and the ability to play through the levels of Coco, Crash's sister. Vicarious Visions has even added a whole new level to the game on all platforms recently, with the new Future Tense stage being Crash Bandicoot's first new mission in years.

Elsewhere on the list, games earlier this year would like God of War and Mario Tennis Aces still sell heavily, while Grand Theft Auto V remains in the Top 10 despite only a few months after its fifth birthday.

    The Spyro Reignited Trilogy will include the original game as well as the suites Ripto's Revenge and Year of the Dragon and will be released on PS4 and Xbox One September 21st.
