Stuart Pearce reverses Arsenal's ten-game winning streak – "Matches are cool with them"

Stuart Pearce canceled Arsenal's impressive 10-game winning streak in all competitions, saying their match "was nice to them".

The Gunners extended their winning streak with a 3-1 win over Leicester City on Monday night.

The result could have been different if the Foxes had taken advantage of their fast domination. Arsenal was under control for the first 30 minutes and lost 1-0 thanks to a goal from Hector Bellerin.

The arsenals improved a lot after the break, and sealed an impressive victory at the Emirates Stadium. Mesut Ozil shone in the middle and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang scored twice to score ten wins.

But while this may sound like an impressive feat, a quick glance at their recent opponents sheds light on their winning streak.

The victories in the Gunners league were mostly against struggling teams, Everton and Watford being the only opponents of the first half they won, while also including a win over their team, Brentford, in the Cup. EFL and two European leaders in Europa League.

Both Arsenal defeats this season came from their first two games against Chelsea and Manchester City. They have not been in the top six since.

And Pearce thinks Unai Emery's men will struggle to face their main Premier League rivals again in their next big game against Liverpool at home on Nov. 3.

Speaking about Monday's victory over Leicester, he told Alan Brazil Sports' breakfast: "Arsenal played nice football in the second half, but the match could have gone both ways, really .

"Leicester played very well in the first half and could have scored a few goals, which would have changed the balance of the game.

"I think the matches have been pretty good for Arsenal so far.

"Whenever they have faced the other six top-top teams, they have been beaten this year and I think things will go wrong when they face the bigger teams again."
