Suspect detained in the assassination of an Olympic figure skating star

MOSCOW – Kazakhstan's authorities said Friday that a man had been arrested and confessed to killing Olympic figure skating medalist Denis Ten.

Prosecutor Berik Zhuyrektayev said in a televised statement that Nuraly Kiyasov "confessed to guilt in the presence of a lawyer" while being questioned about the death of the 25-year-old figure skater.

The prosecutor did not give more details about what Kiyasov had said exactly.

A second man, named Arman Kudaibergenov, is wanted Ten years, 25, was stabbed as a result of an argument with people who allegedly attempted to steal a mirror from his car in his hometown of # 39; Almaty.
