MOSCOW – Kazakhstan's authorities said Friday that a man had been arrested and confessed to killing Olympic figure skating medalist Denis Ten.
Prosecutor Berik Zhuyrektayev said in a televised statement that Nuraly Kiyasov "confessed to guilt in the presence of a lawyer" while being questioned about the death of the 25-year-old figure skater.
The prosecutor did not give more details about what Kiyasov had said exactly.
A second man, named Arman Kudaibergenov, is wanted Ten years, 25, was stabbed as a result of an argument with people who allegedly attempted to steal a mirror from his car in his hometown of # 39; Almaty. He died in the hospital of mbadive bleeding caused by multiple injuries, reported the news agency Kazinform.

Kazinform reported that Kiyasov was taken to the scene on Friday.
Ten bronze in Sochi in 2014 made him the first Olympic medalist in Kazakhstan in figure skating. He also won the Four Continents Championships in 2015 and was silver medalist at the World Championships in 2013.
Ten have had injuries in recent years and have been able to rank only 27 at Pyeongchang Olympic Games in February
