Taken on camera: the man brave the edge of a condo to grab a balcony cat

The video shows a man walking along a narrow, six-story ledge to rescue a cat who had headed for his neighbor's balcony.

James Powell, who recorded the sequence, lives opposite the condominium building in the Liberty Village neighborhood of Toronto, where the rescue operation was held at high risk.

He told CTV Toronto that he was considering shouting at the man to suggest he rethink what he was doing, but decided not to do it because he was not doing it. he feared to scare her.

"There are so many things I wanted to say," he said.

In the video, we see a man climb to the side of his balcony, cross the ledge to get to his neighbor's balcony, grab the cat and return to his balcony while holding the animal.

The Toronto police said that the man's actions were in no way criminal, although they wanted the man to find a less dangerous way to recover the cat.
