Terri Runnels explains why she brought a gun to the airport (VIDEO)

Former WWE star Terri Runnels was arrested this morning in Florida for bringing a gun to the airport. She now explains her side of the story.

TMZ first reported Runnels was arrested around 7:30 am at Tampa Airport by the security checkpoint for possession of a concealed (loaded) weapon.

After her release, Terri shared a video on Twitter explaining what happened.

"When I go to see my mother, I tidy up my gun because she has armadillos that ruin her garden and other creatures that attack her hens, and I usually pick up my weapon when I will see her, "Runnels said.

The 51-year-old woman explained that she had been with her mother for a week and had only slept a few hours during the few days she had returned home. When she left for the airport around 4 am, she forgot that her gun was still in her bag.
