Kensington Palace released a new adorable photo of George to mark the occasion on July 22. Check out this grin-and-collar combo:
This year he started school, was a page boy in his uncle's royal wedding, hosted a little brother, went to several royal events, and – underline! – played a sheep in the nursery school.
His fifth birthday was marked by a St. George commemorative coin killing a dragon, an old English legend about good triumphant evil. Dramatic imagery seems to be a big push for a 5 year old kid, but as no one has ever had a commemorative coin in my honor, I'll admit that I'm not an expert.
