HALIFAX-The police announce that a diving team will be back Monday in a popular lake to search for a 28-year-old man who allegedly drowned.
Police said that a 911 call arrived around 6:35 am. pm Sunday about a possible drowning at Chocolate Lake in Halifax
"Considerable efforts have been made by police, firefighters and the public to locate the male, but these efforts have failed," said one communicated Sunday evening. "It is believed that the man drowned as a result of the incident."
The 28-year-old man sailed before going to the water and did not was not wearing a lifejacket, the police added.
The dive team will continue to look for the 28-year-old man Monday morning
Police say that the identity of the man is not yet unveiled.
