Earlier this week, WWE confirmed that we had not yet seen the last shield and that the trio would team up for the final chapter of the shield this Sunday.
At the time, WWE had not announced its opponents, leaving
fans are asking about the team that will face these three people in what is
dubbed as their last match together.
Now, a new report from Pwinsider revealed that the obvious team of Drew McIntyre, Bobby Lashley and Baron Corbin would be the one that the shield would face.
This is a disappointing news for fans who were hoping for a
more mediatized or mysterious opponent for the trio, but that makes sense
given the configuration of a live event.
As we have already noted, Dean Ambrose's current contract with WWE
expires at the end of this month and it's not advertised for shows after
The live event of this Sunday.
There is no word on what Ambrose will do next
leave the company but it is likely that he will take some time to relax
instead of rushing to his next business
"The Last Chapter of the Shield" will be broadcast live on the WWE network
this Sunday from an event at the Tax Slayer Center in Moline, Illinois.
