The pilot's call announced by the pilot reveals details of a deadly collision in flight

Experts returned Monday on a rural road west of Ottawa to understand what had led to a deadly collision in flight and a crash the day before.

Two kilometers from McGee Side Road remained closed between Highway 417 and William Mooney Road, the area where a Cessna 150 crashed around 10 am ET, killing its unidentified pilot.

The pilot of a twin-engine Piper Cheyenne aircraft that landed at the Ottawa International Airport told the air traffic controllers that they had been involved in an accident that occurred over the community of Carp.

"Someone has fallen deep inside me", could we hear one of the two people on board, according to the audio posted on LiveATC.net, a website hosting control sound streams air traffic.

"Is this your plane or someone at Carp? [airport]? "ask the voice at the other end.

"It's my plane. Someone has hit the bottom of my plane."

None of the two people in the Cheyenne Piper were injured.

Investigators from the Transportation Safety Board of Canada arrived on scene Sunday afternoon to find out what happened.

Lead investigator, Beverley Harvey, told reporters that the TSB would immediately notify the public when it noticed public safety issues during the examination of evidence.
